Hatha Yoga

 

Regular yoga practice improves physical and mental fitness. Yoga postures develop core strength and flexibility and balance the body and mind creating an overall feeling of peace and wellbeing. Students new to yoga or with a pre-existing condition are to advise the yoga teacher on commencement of the class and check with their GP.

Bring a yoga mat, cushion for support, a warm blanket, and comfortable clothing. Beginners and experienced students are all welcome.

Simply Pilates

A basic class for beginners designed to help you help yourself. A series of exercises addressing postural, chronic stiffness, injuries, muscle weakness and core strength.

Bring to class: Motivation, Mindfulness and a Mat.

If you have serious health issues please consult your health practitioner prior to registering.

Afro Latin Dance

 

A dance class designed for non-dancers, people who think they have two left feet and dancers alike.

Drawing on African and Latin dance moves, the sequences are easy and constructed to promote flexibility, fitness, and confidence.

Each session will include a range of stretches and activities can be modified to cater for those with injuries.

Come and find your inner dancer and discover the joy of movement.

Let’s Get Physical

 

Regular exercise assists to avoid diabetes, improves balance, agility, and bone density, increasing joint flexibility, and general fitness for health. This is a fun and friendly class for adults of all ages. People new to exercise or those with a pre-existing condition are advised to seek advice from their GP before undertaking a new activity. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a drink bottle.

Central Highlands Swing Dance Community

Have you ever wanted to learn partner dancing?

Swing Dance lessons for beginners and for dancers wanting a bit more of a challenge. The classes run in blocks of 6 weeks. We have a new beginner intake at the start of each new block.

We host events, workshops, regular classes and get involved with festivals.

Dance based cardio and strength training, designed to keep active and engaged.

This class and each of the exercises and routines can be taken completely at your own pace, adapted to cater for injuries and or restrictions within your own body.

A fun and social opportunity for all abilities and ages.
