Repair and Share

Calling all Creswick and surrounding residents with things you need to be fixed, or fixers who can fix things, & bakers, soup makers and helpers! Join us at for our monthly Creswick Community Share and Repair Event, a celebration of sustainability, community, and collaboration every first Sunday of the month.

Enjoy our community lunch offering and Indulge in the comforting hearty homemade vegetable soup, made from locally sourced veggies (where possible). Treat yourself to delectable homemade baked goodies, all available by donation.

Bring your items in need of repair and give them a second chance! From bicycles to clothes, small appliances to knives, our skilled volunteers will be there to lend a helping hand and breathe new life into your beloved possessions. Note that while we'll do our best, repairs aren't guaranteed, and a referral or refusal may be the only option. If you have a special repair skill to share, let us know too!

It's not just about repairs; it's about healing hearts. Engage in meaningful conversations over a cup of tea or coffee. Connect, share stories, and find solace in the company of like-minded individuals who value community and sustainability.

Embrace the principles of the circular economy and reduce waste. Contribute to our share table with homemade and homegrown produce and swap your surplus veggies, preserves, and baked goodies with others. Experience the joy of giving and receiving without the need for monetary exchange. Let's build a more resilient and sustainable community together! This event now includes our long running food and produce event, Swap It.

Save the Date: 3rd Sunday of the month from 1pm to 4pm (note new dates for 2024)
Location: Creswick Neighbourhood Centre Hall, 19-21 Victoria Street
